About Data Enginx

A London practice dedicated to teaching technical analysis through trendline confluence — patient chart work, not signal noise.

Why we exist

Too many traders inherit a chart full of lines and no language for which ones deserve attention. Data Enginx began as evening chart sessions among a small group of London swing traders who wanted a shared standard: if two or more valid trendlines meet, and the higher timeframe agrees, the zone earns a written plan. If not, the line stays off the chart.

We kept the name Data Enginx because our early notes were labelled “data engines” — engines for sorting price history, not software products. The work remains human: markers, screens, and conversation.

Where we teach

Sessions run from Level 18, 40 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London E14 5NR, and online for traders elsewhere in the UK. We choose quiet rooms with large screens so everyone can see swing anchors clearly.

How we work with you

  • We teach methods you can repeat alone, not a house “call.”
  • We prefer fewer lines and stronger reasons.
  • We ask for your own charts before we talk about ours.
  • We stay within technical analysis education; we do not manage money or recommend specific brokerage products.

People

Elena Ward leads workshops and clinics. She has taught chart structure in London training rooms since 2016 and still keeps a personal swing journal on equity indices and cable.

James Okonkwo runs private coaching blocks. His background is desk risk support and later independent trading education, with a focus on multi-timeframe discipline.

Values in practice

Patience over volume of setups. Clarity of anchors over artistic channels. Honest journals over retrospective storytelling. If a confluence zone fails, we study the failure in the next session rather than rewriting the chart.
