Cookies
How dataenginx.digital uses essential and optional cookies, and how you can change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
Data Enginx uses essential cookies for basic operation (including remembering your cookie preference) and optional analytics cookies only if you accept them via the banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to training information or enquiry forms.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| dataenginx_cookie_consent | Stores your accept or reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Data Enginx (first party) |
| _de_session | Maintains basic site session integrity where required by the host | Session | Data Enginx / hosting |
| _de_analytics | Measures aggregated page views if analytics are accepted | 6 months | Data Enginx (first party analytics) |
Essential items may be implemented as localStorage rather than a traditional cookie; they serve the same preference purpose.
Managing cookies
On first visit you can Accept or Reject optional cookies via the banner. Clear site data in your browser to reset the choice and see the banner again. You can also control cookies in browser settings. Disabling essential storage may reset your consent preference each visit but will not remove access to content.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google according to their policies. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. See our privacy notice for broader data practices.
