Refunds, cancellation & rescheduling
How deposits, workshop seats, coaching sessions, and clinics are refunded or moved.
Scope
This policy applies to Data Enginx training: the Trendline Confluence Workshop, Private Chart Coaching, Multi-Timeframe Clinics, and related private group bookings. It does not cover products we do not sell (software licences, physical goods shipping, or managed trading accounts).
Cooling-off for distance bookings
If you book online as a consumer and the training is not due to start within the statutory cooling-off period, you may cancel within fourteen days of booking for a full refund of sums paid, unless you have expressly requested early performance and the session has already taken place.
Workshop and clinic seats
- Cancellation more than fourteen days before the date: full refund of fees paid, minus any non-recoverable room costs already incurred for private on-site groups (stated in your booking email).
- Seven to fourteen days before: fifty percent refund of fees paid, or a free transfer to a later published date within six months if seats exist.
- Fewer than seven days: no refund of the seat fee; you may nominate a substitute participant at no charge.
- Same-day no-show: the seat is forfeited.
Private coaching
- Cancel or reschedule with at least forty-eight hours’ notice: full credit toward a future session within three months.
- Less than forty-eight hours or no-show: the session fee is charged. We may waive this once per client for documented emergencies at our discretion.
- Coaching blocks paid in advance: unused sessions remain valid for three months from purchase; unused value after that period is non-refundable.
Deposits
Deposits for workshops and clinics secure your place and are credited toward the balance. Deposits become non-refundable inside the windows above except where we cancel the event.
If we cancel
If Data Enginx cancels a date, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another date. We are not responsible for travel or hotel costs unless required by law.
Work already started and materials
Once a live session has begun, that session fee is non-refundable. Pre-session reading packs and digital workbooks already issued are non-refundable, though you retain them for personal use. Printed materials prepared for an in-person seat you cancel late are non-refundable if already printed.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval. Contact hello@dataenginx.digital or +44 20 7710 9000 with your booking reference to request a refund or reschedule.
Exceptions
Bespoke firm workshops may include different written terms in the booking agreement; those terms prevail for that engagement where clearly stated.
